Ali`i Brewery offers

more Hawaiian tastes

Frank M. Wenzl, of Honolulu, is brewing up ales, stouts and barley wines. With a new brew coming out each month, he promotes Hawai`i through hearty taste and lively local names and logos he creates with Hawaiian places and traditions in focus.

Ali`i Amber Ale, Waimea Wheat Ale, Macadamia Nut Brown Ale, Pau Hana Porter and Kona Coffee Stout are among his offerings this Fall. Ikaika Mea Niu Barley Wine, Mango Wheat Ale, Pineapple Pale Ale and Ali`i Golden Ale will follow.

All of Wenzl's brews will be sold in collectable bottles, some engraved with names and Hawaiian petroglyphs. Wenzl sees popular Hawaiian flavors delivered in a brew as popular gifts. His long-term plan is to open brew pubs and expand distribution nationally and internationally to further promote Hawai`i.

Ali`i Brewing Co., Inc. is the only brewery on O`ahu selling bottled beer. Ali`i Brewing Co. brew can be found in stores throughout the islands. The phone number is (808) 841-4833.
